Ace of Cups

THE VESSEL AND THE CUP
from a Hasidic story

What cup knows the distress
of the large vessel, knows
any more than two inches
of the purple? For the cup
everything that fills up
is equal--the little jug,
the pot, the large vessel.
Beyond its own meniscus
nothing's knowable for a cup.
But the vessel wishes
one something
could use it up.

-Kay Ryan

Offering
the Root of
the Powers of Water

( ( ( g o i n g w i t h t h e f l o w ) ) )

After the grace in the dive, a gentle landing is assured, a friendly welcome from the depths of the unconscious. -motherpeace

...prominent emanations of energy
spanning out in a web of connectivity.

I drink in the evening. I drink in the sky.
My heart swells, vast and great as Heaven Herself.
She fills my soul. She feeds my dreams.
And I believe.

The silver cup is the vessel,
the chalice, the grail....
It promises a joyous experience of letting go into unconditional love,
the spaciousness of the open heart.
-motherpeace

...the movement of water always moves towards depth, it always searches for the lowest ground.
It is non-ambitious; it never hankers to be first, it wants to be last.

Strength

Strength, an essential fusion of physical power,
perception from the center and radiant mental energy.
Serene in the midst of chaos, infinity is her womb.

"For they have sown the wind,
and they shall reap the whirlwind…”
~Hosea 8:7a

I am Spirit

Making body
is what I do

I am Body

Expressing spirit
is what I do

I am Primal
I am Sublime

You are strongest

When this card comes up in your reading, pay attention to what you have passion for and use this passion to further your life. This is a card of enormous courage, vitality and power to achieve anything within your imagining. The power you have is not a power over others but a power from within, a strength you have that is really your own. You do not need to hold it over others, but use this inner strength calmly and by example many others may discover this most powerful strength.

EIGHT OF SWORDS CLOSE UP

"...dreamlike and illusory
the wall against which the swords are breaking
is a figment of the imagination.
Freedom lies in
understanding that what is needed is
the more balanced perspective of the crows
who see both sides of the situation with a sense of humor."

Tower

'What am I living for and what am I dying for are the same question.'

-Toby from margaret atwood's, year of the flood

Was there no safety? No learning by heart of
the ways of the world? No guide, no shelter,
but all was miracle and leaping from the
pinnacle of a tower into the air?

-virginia woolf, to the lighthouse

"The lightening bolt of illumination strikes hard, throwing everything into chaos and confusion. This allows for a restructuring based on truth, and releases the personality from false consciousness and depression. The Tower, like the Hindu Goddess Kali, signifies a liberation that hurts even as it frees." -divinewhispers

"...It is no accident that Kali is both sexual guru and destroyer, but she slays whatever stands in the way of true appreciation of what is real. She does not ask to escape 'the wheel of life,' but rides it consciously from the center. When you let her into your life, you will experience an increased sensitivity to everything in existence along with a heightened ability to handle whatever comes your way." -motherpeace

DESIRE

There is One whom I could love above all others.
I see Her, smell Her, hear Her voice in my blood.
How can She be resisted when She is my own self singing?

"As unconscious desire merges with the conscious love of the heart, the outcome will be union."
-motherpeace

Six of Cups

CUPS.

A single example of excellence is in the meat. A bent stick is surging and might all might is mental. A grand clothes is searching out a candle not that wheatly not that by more than an owl and a path. A ham is proud of cocoanut.

A cup is neglected by being all in size. It is a handle and meadows and sugar any sugar.

A cup is neglected by being full of size. It shows no shade, in come little wood cuts and blessing and nearly not that not with a wild bought in, not at all so polite, not nearly so behind.

Cups crane in. They need a pet oyster, they need it so hoary and nearly choice. The best slam is utter. Nearly be freeze.

Why is a cup a stir and a behave. Why is it so seen.

A cup is readily shaded, it has in between no sense that is to say music, memory, musical memory.

Peanuts blame, a half sand is holey and nearly.

REFLECTION

perfect balance is sought as well as grounding and privacy

can you tell us the place where
the elders chew the sky soft?
and the place where love is like
a perfectly quilled arrow
flowing from bows of pure willow...

-mariée sioux

"...She is poised in a seemingly prepared, calm stasis. Both feet securely planted on solid foundation. Further, her feet are pointed outward which hints of openness in her nature..."

Two of Swords (Reversed)>
Things are happening now.
Trust that you are able to make decisions.
Release your fear of involvement now,
release your need for everything to be "perfect"
and in perfect order all the time - allow yourself to relax.
Your affairs may be moving very quickly,
so do not let the pace get you down.

final fantasy

c o m p l e t e .

can you spot a p a t t e r n ?

r e v e l a t i o n

....the absolute abandonment of a cherished image, plan, or way of life.

...the dramatic end of a cycle, a sudden coming to terms with what really is, rather than what one wanted or hoped would be the case.

.....represents a sacrifice that, once made, allows the personality to get on with it's broader purpose in the world. In a certain sense, one may feel a relief in the certainty that the ten of swords symbolizes-the struggle has ended, the ego has no choice but to let go.
